Should Bobby be offered a new contract

if he pulls a Florida State

He’s playing with house money. Doesn’t matter what happens in this game. Look at pre season expectations. Ranked 6th in conference, two new quarterbacks, Cats gonna beat us bad, Idaho gonna handle us, Davis gonna beat us, team hadn’t progressed far enough during Bobby II. He didn’t bow to fan, media, AD pressure and if anyone thinks he did, they either don’t know him very well or they’re just ignorant. He simply made the necessary changes and adjustments a good CEO makes. He has the highest season ticket sales ever at UM. Higher than Colorado State, Fresno State, Wyoming, San Diego State, Boise State, Washington State, Oregon State… the list goes on. Season tickets sold along with achieving all incentives so far up to winning the NC… no chance in hell he won’t be offered a new contract and certainly should. He has been in the best bargaining position ( while considering UMs limitations) any coach has ever been in at UM. The question is does he want to stay or go to a power 5 or NFL for more money to end his career and set him up financially. Who would blame him. If so, Haslam/Bodner should certainly hire within. Pease or Bradford most likely.

Indiancoyote has always been a strange, troll like poster. I’ve always figured he was a cats fan and now that’s starting to solidify.

In terms of Bobby getting a contract, he will get whatever he wants and has returned the Griz to dominance like he promised. Season tix are through the roof and excitement over Griz football is higher than it’s been in a decade. He can literally write whatever check he wants at this point.

Agreed, and I would prefer Bradford. He has brought an intangible energy to the defense this year. I would just hope to God it's not Phen.

Bobby will be at UM as long as he wants to be and that is for 5-10 more years. Bank on it, he is not going anywhere.

If I was your boss, I’d fire you for making a sloppy piss poor comparison. FSU was not in a natty and they didn’t fire their coach for the worst bowl loss in school history. Get your sh it together if you’re gonna be a proper troll unless mediocrity is what you’re trying to accomplish. If so then well done.

My EXACT position on 9/1. Couldn’t have been more wrong. And for all the reasons you stated (that I didn’t quote) I agree. He should be here as long as he likes.
