And now a big fight over Walker who was supposed to be suspended for the first half of last weekend's massacre but Choke threw him in before the first quarter was over while in panic mode over the score. So much for running a tight ship.

Yeah, that's classic. Head coach Ron Chote suspends a player for the first half for violating team rules, then rushes his ass back out onto the field in the first quarter in a move of dire desperation as the cats are getting their ass handed to 'em every which way by Weebs.

I wonder what coach Ron Ash would say about "commitment" regarding that one?
Not real sure.... but, it would have included a plug for the local hot tub company and a pitch on why kacki chinos are the Cat's meow

No one does chinos better than Jeff Ash does.....

The number of empty seats shown on TV would tell a far different story....

The first thing I notice on a kick off or a punt. Case in point ~ The San Francisco 49'ers at home with or without Kaputnick.

Last week I sat with three recent msu football players that played for coach Ash. One said while at msu for 5 years we had the best win loss record ever and we get rid of the coach? I have known these players for seven years (good guys) another one spoke up and lamented he wished msu had gotten Hauck instead of Choke. In any event these guys all have jobs and don't love Wadded that is for sure.

My almost anxious question is what will replace the msu late season melt down? Sunday, Choke stated it was his fault his team was not ready to play Weber. Duuh

At first I thought his constant Pelosi look of wide-eyed surprise was just brand new contacts. I've come to realize its his inability to hide disbelief at the shit-showed he signed on with. Its no accident they can't finish a game and commit bonehead mistakes at the worst possible moments. It's what fundamentally bad teams do. At least on the D side of things, I chalk it up to tackling rolling donuts in practice.

Ash was poorly treated. Much like "our locker room" last year, a good deal of hindsight and exaggeration took over about a "divided" locker room, and on and on. The fact is, despite their overload of braggadocio, MSU has a tough time getting the talent that UM gets They've had fantastic luck with quarterbacks, but that luck had to run out sooner or later, because it was just that: luck. Luck, and Ash has to get some credit for getting them and getting them developed.

Like some on egriz, Choate was the recipient of a ton of fanbase projection early on; not quite at the level of "offensive genius," but he was lauded for his "old school" approach to coaching and team discipline. And off went the Wombat fan base. The problem now is that Choate is remarkably poor at team management and public relations. He needs to get a manager for those post-game pressers. I'm not a fan of "coach-speak," which only vaguely resembles English for most coaches, but Lord, that man doesn't just wear his heart on his sleeve, he's got all his internal organs out there.

He doesn't project cool, steady, rebuilding, he projects panic, anger and desperation.

Word is that worldwide sales of Bobcat Batter have plumeted. No doubt, Coach Dick Choate has had a devastating effect on both college football and the Frozen Dairy Industry (FDI) in southwestern Montana.

Well said 75.

It wasn't the khakis that made Rob Ash great; it was the pleats.

An oft-overlooked and completely great point. Ron could rock a tri-pleat if he wanted, but he kept it classy with a single most of the time. He was known to go flat front only on occasion, but when he did, the fans lost their minds.

Unfortunately the coaching staff had reneged on their offer and will not honor their word. Mitch Johnson will not be attending MSU. Their complete lack of integrity came shining through and I hope the other recruits know what they are getting in to. The CAT way about integrity and family was a line of ******. Completely lied in all facets of the recruiting process. Just glad he will not be going there.

Yeah that's gonna help with recruiting. LOL. It's like watching a horrific accident. You don't want to watch but you can't look away. My God they crashed harder than even I thought they would. It's glorious!

I wonder if there’s a Bobcat student site where they make fun of the delusional morons in Grizland who think some dumb ass sports thing is more important than their shrinking university. You know, something with some relevance to real life.

Golly, why don't you start one and stop wasting your time here?

Life must be really difficult when you're perpetually offended by "morons".

Where would the fun in that be? Why don't we jsut get rid of sports in general then

That's the whole point ... there is nothing I've seen recently that is so morbidly super serious as the drooling, foamy mouthed obsession with Bobcat football amongst this collection of village idiots. It's way past any kind of healthy rivalry. How many new threads are there just today, and how many will be hijacked before twilight falls over your already benighted, pointed, little heads? How can you even stand to repeat the same driveling shit over and over and over ... If it's sickening to have to come across in every thread, how sick would you have to be to participate in it? I don't know how many of you pinheads actually went to the U as students, but if you did, someone failed in their educational duties.
