I think it is just the opposite. If you are in impact recruit, why go to a program with embedded starters and no chance of seeing the field for years? With a 3 win team, there are immediate chances for a recruit to contribute and play. Also, fan support has been solid as the stadium was rocking.

This is too funny. Their strength was their depth at running back. Ok well you don't have Nguyen, Calhoun, Favors or Counts. We got you beat there and everywhere else on the field.
And now a big fight over Walker who was supposed to be suspended for the first half of last weekend's massacre but Choke threw him in before the first quarter was over while in panic mode over the score. So much for running a tight ship.
