I wonder if iaafan repressed their loss to Sac St. because he/she doesn't mention it when discussing that MSU beating Montana wouldn't be a stretch...
 
This was the only overall bad game MSU has played this year, but if you look into a little bit it's easy to see why. Win or lose MSU has always been the most successful school in the most beautiful setting in Montana. So there's no reason to root for anyone else.

No doubt the best institution in the conference. Making big improvements everywhere. The record might look terrible but haven't seen the players quit at all. I am more proud of the fight and attitude of this team when they are out matched then some of the Playoff teams we have had. Makes me proud to be a Bobcat alum and feel we are in good hands

As my friends in blue and gold remind me this morning, the Cats are only 33 points away from being undefeated and atop the BSC standings. I bet the Cats beat the Griz this year.

They should switch to ice skating so they can get an 8 from the Russian judge. Heck they could lose the rest of their games by a few points each and they'd be thrilled. Once a Cat, always a pussy.

right...im constantly blown away by the success of MSU athletics...someday we will beat them consitantly in football and basketball...someday
 
Talent seems to be the big question over there these days. Surprising given all the bluster every time they sign someone. Remember when they got Roderick? and Brekke? They've got the most talked about reasonably good running back in the history of Montana college football (Newell?). The Bignell kid from Drummond is absolutely amazing....remember that one big hit he laid on the guy who didn't see him coming in the opening game last year? They've got WR Herbert (didn't he even go to the same HS as Jordan Johnson?) who was going to light up the league. Another WR, Paige(?)..pure stud. They brought in twin LB's that reminded them of Brian Bosworth in preseason. Last year they had that Colstrip NT freshman that was destined for 3 years of 1st team all BSC. They signed that former 2 or 3 start QB that's now on the bench. And so many more "Bobcat Nation Big Time Preseason Talents" (commonly referred to as BNBTPT's) that I don't have time to list them.

All these guys...... and then they also work out harder than anyone else in the offseason so they all should be making big gains on the other teams that sit around and pick their noses all winter.

And that record enrollment? Tickets for their upcoming EWU game have probably been impossible to get since July.

# 7 is BNBTPT "Hale" (I believe). He played for Choate at UW before getting a little too high on the legal Washington stuff and left. But he really had a great attitude and near NFL talent and when he was dogging it was only because he hadn't taken part in those one of a kind off-season workouts with all the other BNBTPT's. But he's "only a freshman or sophomore" like most of the rest of their starters...so just wait until next year when Choate's BNBTPT's blend in with all these other studs.
