Well, wasn't half your team made up of kickers?

Seriously, what was the number in spring camp, like 8 or something?

No, it was 25.... GTFO

No, I'm serious. Wasn't there something about a guy deciding not to transfer on to the team or something because of the amount of kickers on the team? Or maybe a kid that was offered decided to go elsewhere. You can "GTFO" me all you want but it doesn't change the fact that people were talking about the glutony of kickers on the team. And the half the team thing was a joke. You can take a joke right?

I'm not sure I've got the same kid in mind, but placekicker Ben Worst was already in the program(won starting job as true frosh) and transferred out to Idaho.

Shaw ate his way out of the program. He was one of my favorites as a freshman. Had a great reverse roll on some of his punts and I was hoping for him to really get after it during his last two years as a Griz. He did not speed up his delivery and his gut kept slowing him doen. Injury finally got him. Nice guy but ended up around 270 lbs. Lider can roll out and kick/punt and that should be a great advantage if we use hin that way. As an old punter I keep an eye on these guys.

Too bad. He had a good leg and some nice hang time his first year!
