SFA at Kittens Game Thread

I've had some bub friends tell me they think the backups will play most of the second half. Now, that could be simply because they're better than the starters, as we know. But I get the sense it is because they expect this to be a blowout.

They may be very unhappy in a few hours.
So I guess in their eyes an unranked Yale was somehow a far better team than #7 SFA? Cat logic at its best.

I'm over the shark Tank.... But I see the kittens falling apart in this one.

Heard the same thing last week. Third stringers will start the third qtr Yale is soo overmatched.

I think the cat offense will have a much better showing than last week. I do think Yale exposed some weaknesses in that defensive design that are exploitable, and SFA has the weapons to do that.

I think the only way SFA wins this is in a shootout. I don’t see the cats letting that happen. Also, don’t know how SFA will react if things start to snowball early. Hopefully they get the ball and take that crowd down a notch early.

Can the State of Montana handle Griz/cat 2.0??
What a crazy environment. Win or lose I don't think I would want to be a Griz fan at Reno h sales.
I don't think either fan base could handle a loss in a semi-final match up. lol

I just watched the Cats vs Yale for the first time. I’ve talked a lot of shit about Ivy League football on here. That Yale team changed my mind. Man they were a physical football team on the offensive side. Their defense was tough and exposed some bobcat weaknesses.
They lost 21-13 and the ball definitely bounced the Bobcats way. Lamson fumbles going into the end zone and bumps off a Yale guy into the hands of a cat receiver. Yale QB gets rocked and has to leave the game…backup throws a pick on his first pass attempt. Yale driving and pass bounces off their WR’s hands into a Bobcat INT.

The Bobcats should feel very fortunate they won that game.

If SFA can stifle the Cats running game, they’ll have every opportunity to win. Lamson is not a guy that can pass his way to victory. If SFA can’t stop the run, Cats are scoring 50.
