Billings West had many of their starters back from their very good team of last season, and should have been the favorite in this game.

Since West was ranked #1, I would assume they were the favorite.

Taco has lots of speed as a WR, and plays solid defense as a CB. I know many of you salivate at having Taco become a Griz. But, this kid can't weigh over 160 lbs. soaking wet! He is listed as being 5'9", 175 lbs., but there is no way he weighs that much.

Top 5 player in the state. Kid is a gamer and not sure why any Griz fan wouldn't like to see him in maroon and silver.

I didn't say the Griz shouldn't want him. I just said he is really small. I don't follow Montana high school football, so I have no idea which team is ranked #1. The game last night was the first Montana high school game I have seen in many years. I do attend quite a few Phoenix area high school games.

Dowler reminds me of Mike Ferriter, who also was “really small”. Dowler will be a stud. He’s a heck of an athlete

Providing the rain holds tonight, I plan on going to the Sentinel game tonight. Anyone living in MSLA want to join me? Plus, a couple of brewskies afterwards? If so, send me a PM with a phone number and we can arrange a meeting location.

Just plain weird adults who do not have kids playing in the actual game would go watch high school football. Kind of weird and creepy.

Maybe they are alum. Maybe they have a friend, neighbor, or relative that has kids playing. Maybe they are just fans of high school ball. Maybe they just want a night of entertainment.

How or why is this any different than watching college or pro ball? I don't understand your statement.

Stop projecting dude. I enjoy watching high school, college, and professional athletics. Hell, I’m watching ST. Thomas Aquinas football on tv right now. Does that make me weird? If so, color me weird.

But YOU are OK with posting what you post on another college site. Projecting is the correct term. Methinks he doth protesteth too much.

I went to dozens of HS games in Texas, and I didn't have a kid playing.

Most of the teams I watched would beat Northern Colorado.

And all of them had superior facilities.

Might want tell that to the 5000-6000 fans who watched the Sentinel/Billings West game last night. Your post could be the stupidest post I have read this year, amongst serious completion from posts by The Squad.

Clearly you have never been to Texas. Somehow, 8,000 people can care about a high school game with 210 players. Guess that’s a shitload of perverts.

Some high school games in Texas draw crowds as big as the Griz. I guess if you live in that mecca of beauty, Greeley, CO, you might not understand much about real football fans.

The is one of the dumbest posts ever on eGriz which is quite the feat.

My daughters HS (Reagan, San Antonio) played in a stadium that held about 10,000. Superior facilities to UNC, SUU, PSU, EWU….very similar to Cal Poly’s stadium, if you’ve been there. Their last QB started for four years at A&M and is now backup on Minnesota Vikings. The one before that is a middle linebacker for the Green Bay Packers. Real fans. Real athletes. it’s crazy.

NCU fans apparently feel the same about attending college games.

Using your logic if you don’t have a kid playing on the college team you shouldn’t be attending either, lest you be labeled a pervert….

If you like watching 14 or 15 year old boys play sports then that’s your choice. I think it’s a bit strange and creepy. Obviously if it’s your kid playing on the team or in the band, you actually are still in high school, etc, that’s different. The last time I cared about high school was May 1997, the year I graduated.

I would rather hang with my wife and kids at home on a Friday night, but whatever.
