Where we look particularly exposed going into next year is at MLB, replacing Coyle, and the right side OL, replacing Poehls and Kistler. Going to need some help there. Overall, though, pretty good shape.

I expect our 3 starting LB's next year to be Lebsock, Owen, and Van Ackeren

None of those are big and strong enough to play in the middle to anywhere near Coyle's capability. And Kose does not seem to be durable enough.

What do you base you thoughts about Kose on? I only know of one injury that happened to him. Am I missing something? I don't know of many linebackers that haven't been hurt at sometime or another ala Jordy and Coyle. I thought he had a pretty good spring. I'm just curious as I had pretty good hopes for him.

The next #37= Kidder!!!

It could go Wags for his Senior year then Kidder for his Senior year then if Schye turns out as good as everyone hopes, he could get it his junior year

Connor Strahm and Tucker Schye are a couple of pretty good prospects and Strahm is big enough now. I don't know how much weight Schye has put on but he was reportedly a man among boys in the state all star game. It just takes time to really learn the position.

kemajic is making a good point,,,we have had three middle linebackers in a row around the 240 pound range with lots of ability...we are very thin there imo....do any of our linebackers have the frame for 240 pounds ?
