Senior class for ‘22…

…is also very small with even less starters on it.

RB 14 Ryan Arntson
WR 80 Mitch Roberts
WR 19 Malik Flowers
TE 81 Matthew Rensvold
OL 70 Skyler Martin
OL 68 Cody Kanouse
DT 91 Eli Alford
DE 50 Deari Todd
DE 97 RJ Nelson
LB 58 Patrick O’Connell
LB 10 Marcus Welnel
LB 52 Michael Matthews
CB 21 Justin Ford
S 17 Robby Hauck

Of the 14, only 7-8 will be starters and only 3 more will likely play significant minutes. That means 1) Another small recruiting class next Dec. 2) Less then normal turnover rate for the 2nd consecutive year. 3) Some long term continuity at key positions for 3-4 years that will really help rebuild the foundation that this team will build its upcoming years of success that we seen here in the late 90’s to ‘11. Return to Dominance!

Three of these guys are not coming back
If you got something to say, say it. Don't be all cryptic and shit. For all we know you're a cat turd stirring the pot.

I am not going to name names, but I have heard (2) of those listed as quite possibly not returning. I think there is some validity to his post.

Rensvold hurt his knee this year for what I believe is the 3rd time. Just a guess, but he very likely won't play again.

Nelson was starting a couple years ago at DE as a young player, but hasn't been able to overcome some transfers and young blood. Arnston has to be a walk on and wouldn't factor in to the RB room which will be full next season. Skyler has been close to starting, but surprised he would leave for next season when he would be in line for a guard or center spot.

Arnston and Nelson aren't really all that surprising. they deserve to get an opportunity to get on the field. I'd love to see them transfer to one of the NAIA schools in MT. I think Arnston could really shine at Tech, and they have a history of taking guys from UM who haven't gotten a lot of playing time. Martin would actually be a tough blow though. He'd start next year, and with the amount of guys we've already lost, we can't really afford to lose any others.

I would assume since Arnston already had 2 pretty good seasons at Carroll, he would shine just fine in the Frontier.
