Selvig's status

"Tinkle said fellow freshman Derek Selvig, a 6-10 center from Glendive, probably won't play tonight or Sunday against Gonzaga as the UM staff decides whether he will redshirt.

"I want to go through this weekend, take a lot against top-notch competition and see if we've got holes that need to be filled," Tinkle said. "The big thing about Derek is his lack of strength, but he's really skilled and a very, very heady player."
