UM is in the hardest path to move deep into playoffs because:

The Selection took into account that if we did not have the 'JR Rugby' scoop - we would not be watching the show rooting for the griz - so they put us in the direct path of 2 Top 10 'regional' teams to prove we belong

SDSU is coming here because of the 2OT loss to W Ill (and that is the reason W Ill is even in the dance)

ESPN gets a NDSU rematch game either way, more ratings, more revenue as well

Odd that they rewarded WIU for their 6-5 season with having to play a non-scholarship Dayton team.

Seems to me SDSU got hosed pretty bad. If any of the unseeded teams deserved a cupcake their first round it was SDSU, not WIU who probably shouldn't even be in the playoffs.

I was thinking that too. I know they are trying regionalization, but W Illinois here and Dayton at SDSU makes more sense to me.
