Seems weird to me??

I find it odd as someone who was been around high school and college basketball for years that Andrew Strait goes 7-8 from the floor and is routinely above 65% from the floor continually gets looked off by the guards when he is wide open in the post. Now I am no Rocket Scientist but if I were coaching I may consider making it a priority to get him the ball, like we did when LK was here...Seems to me what we are currently doing isn’t getting the job done...

Dont even know the kid, just been to everyhome game in the last four years...and remember the days when him, Criswell, and Matthews had this program at his peak..All 3 very unselfish players who cared about one thing..WINNING!! And dont give me this BS about lack of talent, we pushed a #1 Seed University of Washington Team that had 4 Current NBA Players in their line up to the brink three years ago with players like Brian Lynch, Cory Easley, Chris McKay..Its has nothing to do with Lack of Talent, it has to do with Four Coaches that would be lucky to lead the Dream Team to a win..

I would check my facts Sportsjunkie.

Brian Lynch and Chris McKay were not on the team that season. Also, Easley hardly played due to his inability to be physical. It all comes down to coaching and strategy, which appears to be non-existent during Tinkle's tenure.

Oh go climb back under the rock you came from. What is the point coming in here anyway?

Since you are finding bits and pieces to pick away at, why not go back to Blaine Taylor, Stew Morril and Montgomery to find fault in the way they coached. Takes a lot of mental capacity to come in and bitch about things without saying anything specific.

Not only that, but, while I see your point SJ, and I know this year's team wouldn't do any better, I would hardly call never trailing by less than double figures in the final 13 min. "the brink".

Led by Davis' physical play inside, the Grizzlies trimmed the Huskies' lead to 52-43 with 13½ minutes left. Washington followed with a 9-0 run, only to see Montana cut the lead to 67-57 with eight minutes left, leading to a chant of "Overrated! Overrated!" from the Grizzlies' side.

Montana never got closer.....

As someone who was cheering for the Huskies at the time, I was terrified.

Wow! Terrified? Terrified of the "down by 10 'overrated' chant"?

Leave it to Griz fans.... It's like if you told Tiger he was overrated when he was demolishing you the whole round. Also, if someone is beating you, and you call them overrated, what does it say about you?
