Nope, never heard of the guy before now, but he sounds like a piece of work.

Sounds to me like he cancelled the trip due to legal issues, not because of planned protests.

I don't like banning artists from campus. If people don't like the guy or his message, I'd rather see him show up and play to an empty Adams Center than to selectively ban him from campus. The message would be stronger.

Have to agree with this. Dislike rap in a serious way, but limiting artists because you don’t like them or their message is wrong. Liberal or conservative, accept and respectfully disagree.

There are far worse things than allowing a criminal charged with beating a pregnant woman and witness-tampering on campus.

And it's not like the school actually misses any money. Tickets were nonrefundable, and this shithead was just one performer that night. Still a few others coming.
