What keeps bothering me is that he didn't start here. Makes me wonder if perhaps Pflu had a beef with him of some kind. Kind of absurd that he couldn't start here yet he can make an NFL roster :?

Maybe. It seems there was a story somewhere that seemed to indicate that he didn't have the greatest work ethic, and that (as I recall it) he even left -- or strongly considered -- leaving the team after his junior season.

That all said, he had some pretty darn good players in front of him, including a 3rd rounder.

I do remember that article in the Missoulian now that you mention it. And yes, he had some damn good talent in front of him. Tru will be in the HOF IMO.
