SDSU will be tough sledding, however...

....I'm pretty sure it's not as tough as playing a championship game against prime Randy Moss. We've seen better.

I just watched a vidieo of the SDSU vs Bobcats in Sept. I really like how we match up against them. Bobcat defense was pretty stout against them, SDSU secondary gave up some big plays, very Venable over the middle and deep. Our receivers are better than the cats, so that's a plus... Also, our defense will really give their QB some fits, he is good, but i noticed he gets flustered quite easily, when pressured. I think the cats sacked him 3 or 4 times... I'm really excited to see our D do damage control to this outfit...! Again, from what I saw, the bobcats were their toughest game to date & almost pulled the upset. And you know what we did to the Bubcats..!

Isaiah Davis will be the toughest test of the game. He’s damn good at what he does! Gronowski throws well and he can scramble a bit if he needs to. But I do like how we match up.

I am glad the lagomorphs had what turned out to be a cupcake for their last game. The Griz have hard fought, gritty wins so are battle ready. The rabbits might be overconfident based off their hop in the park. For a bunch of “not very athletic” (per Furman’s QB pre-game), they gutted out two really tough wins. I like our chances.

We have a GREAT chance against SDSU. SDSU has always struggled against Big Sky teams since 2021 and actually lost to Montana State this year but because of hometown refs, they didn't count that last second TD. But the past doesn't matter. What matters, is what happened this season and our team has proven to weather the storm and face any and all adversity that comes there way and come out victorious. Our team was built for this moment and game and we will come out on top. SDSU hasn't faced a defense as good as ours all year. And every team this year came in thinking the same thing everyone who hasn't witnessed what our defense can do, is that it will be no problem. Then at the end of the game,.they don't know what hit them. All these teams come in with great stats and great numbers on paper until they face us. Just like this NDSU game, Cam Miller is completing over 70% of his passes and blah blah blah. Yeah his numbers were magnificent against cupcake teams. Then they face our D and there completion % turns into barely 50 and probably high 40s.
I have no doubt in my mind we will win. Its like our team and players were built for this game and we will shock the whole FCS world. I won't be shocked, but everyone who truly doesn't understand our Griz team and what we truly pocess will have there minds blown when we beat SDSU. Go GRIZ!!!

We are about to see the toughest D we've seen all year. So are the Jacks. Lets Go! 8-)

They didn't count it because it wasn't a touchdown.

The Griz have a chance to win if they play really really well and have a couple of things go their way. SDSU has started slower and gotten better the last couple of seasons as good teams often do. The Cat game is not the best indicator, imo.

NDSU had 330 yards against the Griz with 2 OT’s.
Well, guess what…….? NDSU had 330 yards against da wabbits in their last meeting. I will also say yesterdays Bison offense was far better than they were earlier in the season when they played the wabbits.

I know transitive property isn't real, but your point about the Cats getting robbed in Brookings is so true. And honestly that game made me feel like the Cats were going to be invincible and superhuman and paired with the Griz' NAU loss not long after it really felt like it was going to be a tough year for the men in maroon. I know the Cats weren't really the same team after the Idaho loss that made them finally look human, and I'm sure the Jacks have evolved and progressed over the season too, but I feel reasonably confident that if the game stays close the ball will bounce our way and the good ole grizzlies will triumph.

Need to keep their stud RB from going wild for starters.

Didn't we just beat the QB ranked the best in the FCS?

Did I imply we can't slow the guy down? If Davis goes for 6 or 7 yards a pop it will be a long day. If the Griz keep them under 150 yards rushing I like their chances.
