Happy Thanksgiving Griz fans! Here's a little preview of the two teams facing off on Saturday to come to Missoula.

South Dakota State vs New Hampshire scouting report

The winner of this game comes to Missoula next Saturday. The game is scheduled for an 11am kick in Brookings, South Dakota. Currently the Jackrabbits are 9.5 point favorites. Pulling the odds for national title winners, SDSU has the 6th best odds where New Hampshire has the 4th lowest odds to win it all.

South Dakota State Jackrabbits 8-4

SDSU was off on a hot start, winning their first 7 games including an OT win against Montana State and beating two other eventual playoff bound teams, Drake and Youngstown State. Then the Murray State game happened and both star QB Chase Mason and star WR Lofton O’Groske get knocked out, in addition to Chase Van Tol a high producing LB. Chatter on Mason is he’s on the brink of return though, Van Tol returned for the UND game.

Thanks as always Brint. Agree on the prediction. Jacks will be tough in Missoula next week, but we are healthy and angry and hungry!

Still, I am weary of playing the Montana/Dakota polka songs over and over. I would like to see more balance in FCS with a broader variety of teams from all over the country, fresh coaches and payers. Love to see an Ivey team in Missoula or equiv. Playing SDSU is like kissing your sister...twice.

If SDSU wins they are probably going to be a tough out. It seems like they are getting some players back healthy enough to play.

Would not expect them to be an easy win. Yet even fully healthy this isn’t anywhere near their teams from last year or the year before.

Do you know when So Dakota State last won in Missoula? The answer is never. If they advance to play the Grizzlies next week that fact will remain the same.

Glad you're really confident, hope you're right. It looks like we're going to find out.

Mason’s not going to play, and his name will be in the portal in 12 hours or 7.5 days when they lose in Missoula. He has no interest to play for SDSU, risk an injury and not get whatever offers he’s been promised.
