"Scout Team" Report?

In football, we often monitor the progress of our redshirt freshmen. We even have a "Scout Team" player of the year.

Not so much in basketball. In fact, nothing.

So: Any reports as to how Johnny Braggs and John Solomon are progressing? Has anybody on this board seen them scrimmage?

I heard they are both looking much better than Vazquez, Owens and DCH were two years ago when all three were getting lots of time on a pretty good Griz team! Just wait a couple years?

No 1st hand practice observations. However, he's a big guard. The guy is 200ish lbs. He's put together well. I can see him being a terrific defender.

Offensively, when I watched him warm up and in the scrimmage, he had good rotation on his shots. Looks to me to be a lot like Lonell Martin. I don't know how good his handles are. I'm hoping he'll be a 3 position defender and 2 position Offensive player.

He just looks the part. I'm looking forward to watching him, when his times come.

Solomon is an athletic sinewy SF/PF type. Skills wise, haven't seen enough to even have an opinion.
