Q: What about your family, Coach? I know your wife, Stacy, is from St. Ignatius and you’ve got three daughters in addition to Robby. Do you think they’ll be able to adjust easily to living back in Montana?

A: I do. My (twin) daughters (Sydney and Alexandra) graduate from San Diego State in May and they’re going to go to graduate nursing school and their top choice happens to be our neighbors down there to the southeast (laughs). It’s going to hurt me to write those checks. My hand will be shaking (laughs).

Q: So Bobby, you’ll be renting an apartment for them in Livingston or Belgrade? Certainly not Bozeman? (laughs)

A: They’re on their own. But I know when I have to write those checks to Montana State University for tuition it’s going to make me cry (laughs).

Take it out on their football team, BH

I would have liked to ask him about burrito drop-off. After I moved to LA, I thought the burrito game was at its peak. I moved to Orange County, and it's even better in places. But, the burrito center of the World lies south of the 8 in San Diego. Weather and salary are two things, but to give up those burritos? . . . His heart has to be in this. Period. Full stop.

Interesting. BH says there are too many WRs on the team. Ha! I’m really interested in what kind of offense takes the field come spring ball.

Actually he said they had too much depth there. Sure, he might be admitting to many roosters in the henhouse, but he was actually paying the WR group a compliment.

I interpreted it the other way. Why would he phrase it that way and not be saying he has too many. If he was commenting on his dearth of WRs positively, he could have said “we have great depth” or something along those lines. He said “too much depth.” That has a different feel.

Just how I'm reading the tea leaves.

(bqm) the burrito capital of the world is rolberto's in pokey. you didn't know that(bqm)

As a current resident of San Diego, I’ll second the burrito capital of the world argument. One might have enter a 12 step recovery program when leaving here.
