scholarships and offers

Who can explain how it works. If you have ten scholarships do you only offer 10 in some form or other or do you offer scholarships x 1.75 and tell the last guys tough titties? If you have 17 to offer and only fill 16.5 of those do you give the last .5 to a walk on or partial guy or roll it over? Just wondering if someone wanted to increase knowledge of college football instead of yelling your mom is this or that with the opposing teams posters

FCS schools are allowed 63 scholarships

They can be split up in many ways but to no more than 85 individual players.

Also, most FCS teams hold on to a few, say 1 or 2, for possible drop downs/ JC guys.

Schollorships are yearly, not for 4 years.

FBS have 85 scholarships but they ALL count as full schollorships... so rarly are there split FBS schollies.
