Schmaing?

Given Schmaing's issues last year with academics, never have I been so happy to hear of a player having a minor injury.

I was thinking the same thing! Hope he has his family issues are sorted, that is tough when you have to throw those things into school, football and all that training. I obviously don't know football like some of the posters on here but I think having him is a big deal.

No kidding. Its a pretty impressive performance on his part to even be here. I wish him the best.

Didn't want him anyway right?

You guys sure do know how to eat your own.
You have no room to comment Like Potomac noted after the brawl last year, I have never seen so many pointing figures comments including calling out individual players. Unbelievable comments about one player in particular.

Touch a little nerve did I? I'll make the room to comment however I feel. So the typical griz response of we didn't want him anyway is now off limits huh?

You realize you guys do the same thing right? Have seen it numerous times on bobcatnation about a player leaving or no longer being with the team.

"Didn't want him anyway" isn't exactly unique to eGriz.

Yet you lump all Bobcat posters together as calling out players, which I never, although I saw calls for Ash's head, and right fully so...

You lumped Griz fans together with your original comment based on an Alpha post FFS, yet now get all butthurt when the favor is returned? :P

Also, I figured I should point out that the mods of your own forum had to start a post called "Taking back BobcatNation" after the insanity last year. The attacks on Bleskin were the worst I've ever seen on either board from actual real posters (non-trolls).

I think all of your menstrual cycles have aligned.

You kitty fans have been stuck in yours since early afternoon on November 22nd last year. Don't worry though, I'm sure it'll end after your first cupcake. Then you'll feel all good again until the normal end-of-season collapse culminating with an ass-whoopin' by the Griz in the litter box

I'll start. How much better will your oline be with him? Not looking dominate this year so far from the practice reports. How much better will the one guy make it?

A better question might be, "How much worse will they be without him?" All the same, I believe they will come around. New offense with a lot more QB movement, reads, checks, etc. can take time to learn to block for and they are practicing against a good D. But we are thin and we cant afford any injuries.

There is no doubt the O-line would be better with Schmaing. He is probably our best O-lineman, assuming he performs like he did 2 years ago. I assume he's probably better now than he was 2 years ago. Left tackle is a very important position.

Schmaing and Weyer are the top two Griz lineman. The line is much better with both of them!

Can anyone tell me how Clint Larowe has done in Spring ball and now in Fall practice? I thought he might be a starter at some point but his name just never comes up.

Moved to guard this season, #2 LG I believe.

I would say Clint has been a little bit of a disappointment thus far. I saw him in high school, and thought we could see another Colin Dow. Just hasn't clicked for some reason.

There is plenty of doubt

So who would be a better option at LT? Please enlighten us with your trove of football knowledge.
You really left yourself open on that one.... Think of the options he has for a response.

I want Schmaing back. I need the tackle and want to see him on the field.

We will live without him but not for long!

Someone should ask Jordan Johnson if he wishes he had Schmaing at LT last year.

And by no means any offense to David Reese, but I'd guess JJ would've opted for Schmaing.

What does he know? He didn't play the game at a high level like alphie and kem.
