Not sure on UNLV but he did both times he was at Montana.

My recollection was UNLV lacked at the skill positions on offense.

In fall camp the moment Schmaing came in and played with the "1-B" line suddenly run blocking improved by a mile.

He was recognized as an honorable mention on the all Big Sky team after the 2013 season.

He was listed as an All-American candidate before his academic suspension in 2014.

Germer (I've been told) has mentioned that Schmaing and Reese are two excellent tackles and the guys he thinks will serve as his starters.

Schmaing plays mean and that's what this O-line needs to get back to it's DOLA roots.

Exactly...I've specifically watched him play a bit and I am under the impression he is without a doubt our best lineman...also think he can have an All-american type year this year.

UNLV's all-time rushing leader had some success behind Germer's line.

the pure frosh at LT got his lunch eaten for half the season when he showed some progress. NDSU's Buck Buchanan winner had a field day. won't happen this year.
