Scheduling North Dakota State

I don't like night games either. That spoils going out in the bars after the game, going out to dinner, and partying.
We love night games, especially the early games in the season when its 120deg at kickoff 8-)
Especially for us out of town fans so we can shop during the day or tailgate before the game. Normally stay the night so the next day is a easy trip home.

I don’t know to what extent our AD has attempted to schedule a home and home series with them, but I hope that he would reaffirm his efforts. This would be a game that fans at both schools would look forward to with enthusiasm every year.
I don't think our HC would be a big fan of the idea.

Why would hauck have a problem with a home and home contract?

Ndsu and montana had a home and home, I think in the 2014 and 2015 seasons

Ndsu has also did a home and home against weber state, and eastern washington.. they also did the same thing with a couple of teams from the caa 4 or 5 years ago..

Ndsu and eastern washington Hava a game scheduled at u.s. bank stadium in Minneapolis in 2023... ndsu a.d has said he is very open to the idea of neutral site games against fcs teams at such places as Las Vegas or Dallas, since games against fbs teams are getting more difficult to schedule.

Again, why do you think hauck is against home and home series?

Shopping on game day is not a priority for me. I don't need a night game to do tailgating. Not sure why you need a night game to stay overnight.

Does BH do the scheduling? Genuinely curious.
The AD doesn't do scheduling in a vacuum. You think BH doesn't have influence with the AD? LOL. He prefers easier OOC games, considering them pre-season. He doesn't like night games and is the biggest reason we have only one.

What influence does he have? Consulted? Approval? Veto?

Please provide source for BH likes to play "easier" OOC games.

Does he also approve game start times?

I will answer for Kim. Various direct conversations between Bobby and Kem. People close to the program like Kem have heard Bobby speak about the subject. Bobby likes his team to start peaking in November, and carrying the high level of play through the playoffs, not early in the season for tough/special games.

Probably all of the above regarding your first line. I've been told that Haslam is afraid of Bobby, or at least used to be.

He's afraid of the guy that he hired to come back???

Thanks for answering for Kim.

Specifically, did Bobby say he prefers to play "easier" OOC games? Did he say he sets game start times? Did he let Kim know he is consulted, approves, or has veto power over all scheduling?

Who said that? BH is against tough OOC games. He prefers OOC games to be pre-season.

How many times do these have to be answered for you? Suggest you contact BH directly if the answers here are unacceptable. Or just quit.

Kim,

Unfortunately, the questions were not answered. If BH whispered something in your ear - just tell us what he told you. Or, maybe - just maybe - you have no idea what the answers really are. Please answer, or quit pretending you know the answers. Thanks.

Eastern and NDSU are playing next year at the new Vikings Stadium...Also EWU and NDSU as well as UM and NDSU have had home and homes against each other over the past decade...I think they are willing to schedule top tier FCS opponents.

He might still have a bad taste in his mouth from his 1st ever head coaching home game. Of course that was against some up start D2 team that many on eGriz were probably upset we weren’t playing the likes of a Georgia Southern or App St.

Soldier, have you ever considered learning more about the Griz program before chirping at posters that know a lot about the program? I'm amazed at how little you know about the program, as well as how little you know about football. While I disagree with Everett on may things, he has many ties to the program, UM athletic admin, and UM, in part because he was the head of an important alumni committee for years.

Not going to happen; not about to directly disclose comments made in confidence. Observations of behavior go a long way if you would open your eyes.

Sure thing....in other words you know none of the answers. Guessing you know far less than you claim.

I know more than you think...about the program and about football. I'll just leave it at that.

Kem knows way more than what he is saying.
