So I know this time of the year is generally dedicated to recruiting but when will we start hearing about next year's schedule? Do we have any decent non-conference games set?

He posted it on eof the basketball threads last week. The Griz will be playing at Gonzaga and then in a Holiday tourney that includes Washington State. Pretty exciting news. :thumb:

Definitely going to the Gonzaga game. A sibling decided on going there instead of UM so we better win that. Do we get a home game in a following season? Any idea where this holiday tournament is?

I don't know about a home return game, but I wouldn't be surprised. Few has a good relationship with the Griz so I think he woul dbring his team to Missoula. I think the Holiday Tourney may be at the Spokane Arena, but don't quote me on that one.

Alright, in the weeks leading up to this game I'm really gonna try to stir something up. We need some fans there bc you know they won't get many Zag fans for a game against lowly Montana...I hope. At least they won't be as excited for it as we are. A decent Mid-Major ranking a couple weeks into the season would be nice.

The Dawg pound will sellout, don't kid yourself. I think a good number of Griz fans would go if tickets are available.

I think I can get tickets through either the marketing department or possibly from some people at Gonzaga. Their stadium is pretty big and if this is a weekend game I wouldn't be surprised if it wasn't a sell out. They don't have that big star anymore... until Gray gets older.

Men's Basketball Tickets
Men's Basketball Season Tickets:
All season ticket packages are currently sold out through April 2009. If tickets become available as a result of annual attrition, only Bulldog Club members will be eligible to purchase them. For more information about the Bulldog Club and how to join please click on the following link. Gonzaga Bulldog Club Information

Mens Basketball Single Game Tickets:
The McCarthey Athletic Center is considered sold out for all men's basketball games with all seats committed to season ticket holders, GU students, GU employees, and contractual commitments to sponsors and the visiting team. The only way we place tickets on sale is if we have any remaining after our ticket distributions to students, staff and faculty, or if we have any returned by a sponsor or the visiting team. Often times, all we have available are single seats

That blows.

Well, let's hope we get decent amount of tickets and also hope that they sell some kind of Guest pass for GU students... similar to what we do for football.

McCarthy only seats 6,000. It's not big at all. It's extremely nice though. Very cool place to see a game.

They wanted to keep the intimidating atmosphere from the old Kennel, and they also wanted to make sure they could continue to sell out in case there was a down year or two.

Tickets through players/cheerleaders/coaches/AD are about the only way to get in without scalping a ticket at the door.

Remember our fun at Gonzaga and almost getting kicked out? I had nice floor seats though :thumb:

Yeah...that was back when the university could actually help out the website that actually provides some buzz and excitement for the university athletics.

Hey, my seats were in the gym. I think I watched basketball from my view. The air was a little thin. That was the old Kennel too. The security and regulations were much different from the women's game, eh?

McCarthy is sweet. Our seats weren't the best, but there isn't a bad seat in the place. The concourse level is cool because you can still watch the game as its opened up to the court.

I have a friend coming here next year who's close w/ a player so I may be able to pull that string.

Otherwise, would scalping be hard for this type of game?
