Okay...I finally broke down and dialed up the mouser's forum. I literally had not ventured over there in more than 2 years. Being sick and tired of all the scat trolls on egriz, I wondered if we had Griz trolls on their forum. I spent 2 1/2 hours going through 10-12 threads and read at least 4 pages in each thread. Honestly, I could not find one post that identified as a Griz poster, unless they used a phantom name. Proof once again that the little brother syndrome is alive and well.

One thing of note that blew my mind - their 2023 recruiting thread listed 98 known offers. 98??? How is that possible? Talk about throwing mud at the wall and hoping that some sticks. Our 2023 recruiting thread shows 19 offers. Obviously, there are probably more that we are not aware of yet. But...98 :shock:

Yeah, I gave up going to catcounty.com or whatever years ago as well. Even good (e.g. non-troll) GRIZ fans are pretty much banished by the mods over there. While part of me wishes our mods would band a few of the nothing-but-troll-types over here, I'm glad we have a board where decent posters from other programs are welcomed. That place became nothing but an echo chamber, and what was being shouted into it was rarely accurate.

I have to give some credit over here. For a very long time this place was a complete shit show with the various reincarnations of growler and PR's inexplicable willingness to go directly into the mud with both Cat and Gris posters. I was here for no other reason to watch you guys eat your own with the help of some Cat trolls (sometimes me). I don't see that anymore. As a Cat troll, I find this mildly disappointing. More and more I'm behaving like a normal and rational contributor over here. Strange.

I’m occasionally a fly on the wall over on BN and for the most part it’s about like any other team forum. Both fan bases try to convince themselves that the other team is not as good as advertised in order to help everyone sleep better in the lead up to the brawl. Both teams are solid and this is a great rivalry. With that being said… FTC.

I heard the mods over there are soft as baby shit. A friend of mine posted a few pro Griz/anti Cat things over there a few years ago. I didn’t see the posts, but he says it was typical banter. The mod didn’t ban him but dm’d him saying that if he posted again, the mod would doxx him. Work email, personal email, work number, etc. Creepy fuckers.
