The Stitt show.... It's about to crash and burn.

You know as well as I do that your defense kept you in your games and the offense didn't have a run game and relied to much on Jones deep receptions to move the ball.

Ya ya, he beat the Cats, but really, the Cats had them pretty bottled up except the deep balls to Jones, Roberts, and Henderson.

Deep pass isn't an effective and balanced offense and once these players leave (this year), it's tough sledding going forward.

Now your best coach not only left, but went to the freaking Cats?!?!?! [emoji23][emoji106]

And we are putting on the field even more speed next year. Dalton Daum, the rare two-time Gatorade Track and Field Athlete of the Year and even more rare back-to-back 100 and 200 meter class AA state sprint champion, is a threat to score from anywhere on the field. He blew away one of your current starting kitty cornerbacks in high school sprints, I can't wait for him to do it again on a college football field. TALK ABOUT CRASH AND BURN2 :!: :!: :!:

True, AZ. And that hurts (a lot), cause Roberts was fantastic...big, great hands, and good speed.

But he didn't have sprinter speed.

It's funny how players make coaches look good:

Carolina Panthers head coach Ron Rivera got better the second Cam Newton got better. Now they are 15-1.

Pete Carroll was a losing coach at 7-9 and 7-9. Then Seattle drafted quarterback Russell Wilson. Have you noticed Pete Carroll's record (performance) since? HA

You can even go back to USC in la la land. Pete Carroll was really good with future NFL QBs Matt Leinhardt and really good with Carson Palmer. He wasn't nearly as good with John David Booty. :shock:

After reading through the drivel in the latter part of this thread I went back and googled up everything I could find on Bob Stitt. I came away more convinced and comfortable than ever that here we have a guy who is very intense, very committed and very capable. We may question the tough discussions he makes but remember this is his team, his career and his blank slate so to speak. I like the energy and enthusiasm he brings. He knows what he needs and he is out there putting it together.

I agree. And your avatar is what I imagine he looks like as he is game planning.
