Sad day last Friday. Really sorry to hear after waking up to the news. I've lived in the Denver area for 12 years now and I must say it's changing just like Los Angeles did the 15 years I lived there..

My wife, kids and I are actively looking to get out. It's time has come.

By the way, for those who argue against the right of others to carry protection legally, this same thing could have been the situation if not for this woman in Colorado Springs in 2007.

Reading the bios of the dozen deceased victims of the Friday massacre in today's Denver Post would give most thoughtful persons reason to pause and think of young lives cut short - and their own. So why should anybody, me included, ever again post anything of a sensitive nature here that half a dozen mindless knuckledraggers can't turn into trash. Since so many people are coming up with such stupid arguments for NOT having guns in that theater, its my turn.

What if 25 people had guns in the theater when Holmes came in?
What if one guy had a rocket launcher with a popcorn holder mounted on it?

Holmes cant shoot all 25 at once, he may have got shot down before more than a couple of people got shot or wounded. Maybe Holmes stops to think ......."hmmmm didnt plan for them shooting back" providing valuable time for people to GTFO of the theater.

If this was the case, most of those people might have been able to watch the movie they came to see, with the tickets they paid for.....after the minimal chaos was removed.
