Good news, Jerome Saures isn't going back to NAU next year, they didn't renew his contract. For those that think we need a new coach, he's available. He has/had the best team in the Big Sky this year. Why wouldn't we want him? Of course he just got beat with a 4th string QB/WR, oh and our top running back got hurt early and our starting free safety was suspended. "Yeah but their starting QB got hurt" said Reece Phillips to Gresh Jensen "if that wouldn't have happened they would have killed us". So you're 2nd string QB played as well at QB as one of our WR's? If you think we should get rid of Stitt, today was a great reminder of "Bobby (Hauck) ball" because I don't see them bringing in another offensive minded coach. They will go in the other direction. Let's get "tough"! Run, run, pass, punt. Today was one of the most boring Griz games I have ever seen, but who out coached who? The coach with the top team in the Big Sky or the coach with the 4th string QB? Half way through the 1st quarter it was obvious neither team could complete a pass, and they had the better running QB. If we don't want to give Stitt more time, Saures is available next year. He had a great backup plan today when Cookus got ejected. I would love to see what he could do with a 4th string QB.
