Saturday Viewing Options

I know most people like to actually watch the game on TV, but I always knew what was going to happen before I saw it as the game tracker was always ahead of the espn+.

Read through this thread and you’ll see 3-5 ways to easily watch ESPN+ on your tv.

It sounds like Kem already has a computer so going out and buying a smart tv or a doggle like Firestick, etc. is redundant.

If he prefers his larger monitor (his "regular tv") because of its size and position to the couch, why not just hook up the computer to the larger monitor? As long as both the computer and monitor have HDMI ports, should be pretty straight forward to plug in a HDMI cable.

(When I was in college 15-20 years ago, I had a computer, PS3, Wii, and cable all hooked up to the "big screen" in our living room so the computer/tv would have to be ancient not to have a HDMI port(s). I did have to fiddle with the resolution on my computer ahead of time on a separate desktop monitor so that it would display properly once connected to the "big screen" but it was pretty cool to have the ability to switch from PC gaming to watching TV to surfing the web to watching a blu-ray to typing a paper to playing party/group games on Wii to playing YouTube music videos during house parties, etc. all by just pressing the HDMI switch hub or the input button on the tv remote.)
Back in the day the HDMI was the shit until you celebrated a TD, tripped over the cord, knocked the laptop off the coffee table and spilled your beer.

The only issue I have ever had with ESPN+ has been because of my internet. I can access it on multiple devices no matter where I am - I even watched last week's game from an Airbnb in New Mexico. Sure beats years ago sitting in front of my desktop and staring at my small monitor to watch the game. I don't get the whining.
Buffeting Mick Holien 😀

I have a strong preference for regular TV where I can sit in my recliner next to the fire, record and not watch all the dead time. Paying an extra $12 when I'm already paying a boatload to sit in front of my monitor is special. I could go on.
Don’t you have some offspring that can give you a quick hand with this? Once you have it nailed down, it’s easy, convenient, and way cheaper than being pissed off. 👍🏻

I agree. I have had zero problems with ESPN+ over the years. To me, it’s awesome.
If I’m being honest, ESPN + had its issues in the early going. But, figure it out, they’ve clearly done and it’s now a reliable and affordable service w playback options that I personally find indispensable.

Anyone else in the Missoula area getting an “Unable to access event. The content you are trying to view is unavailable to purchase due to your location” in the ESPN+ app?

For those new to ESPN+, feed usually starts a minute or 2 after "start time". So don't panic until nothing on 3 min after hour.
