Satellite Viewing Locations - Griz/Cat Game Parties

Always down here in San Diego this time of year and McGregor's is always hopping with lots of Griz faithful (and a few scats).
Often get a few Griz parents in - so it would be nice to see local boy Kemp have a BIG game.

Love sluggers, have always had a great time there, but here is another alternative in the south end. Jim and staff are trying to build a Griz fan base and for me it's 5 minutes from home. Check them out for the playoffs.

...will be packed again! ...and I will be there. Go Griz!

You gonna be there this year? I'll be up there, first year living out of Montana.

For those south of Portland, the Willamette Valley area party will be in Silverton @ Seven Brides Brewery.
There are a fair amount of Griz and Cat that live in around Silverton/Salem/surrounding areas. I expect a good crowd. It is the home town of Scott Gragg after all! :thumb:

We went to Portland last year, arrived 2 hours early, and had to BEG people to sit with them... it was that crowded. Folks often arrive as early as they can to grab a table for their crew.
It was a blast however, great venue, surprisingly good service for how busy it was. Great hosts too!

GrizGuy.. especially in a large area like Seattle, get there at least 2 hours early if you want to find a seat!

Up with Montana Boys!

Sluggers in Kirkland is pretty bad. Very dark and depressing inside along with over priced drinks (even for Seattle standards). I went last year and I was surprised that people spoke highly of this place.
The same thing is true in LA..the bar in Culver City is dark, dreary, and more MSU than UM...For me to go to Culver City on a Sat would be akin to driving from Yakima to Kirkland traffic wise. Parking is impossible, as well....easier for more mature Griz to drive to LaQuinta in the Palm Springs area...far nicer, too.

In the Denver Metro area come on down to Brooklyn's across the street from the Pepsi Center

Wrong......Brooklyns just south of Mile High is the one use to GRIZ fans. The other is not even close to a GRIZ bar. :thumb:

Being it is near impossible to find. Here are some directions. I-25 to Colfax. West on Colfax, 1st right going into Mile High, just after crossing the bridge. Follow the winding road back under the bridge (southside of mile high), after going under the bridge, look left at the stop sign. It is an old building, one block of the stop sign.

That's a bum steer, pal. The Mile High Brooklyn's crowd will be miniscule compared to the mega-large Pepsi venue which will be exclusively a Griz-Cat crowd. Mile High location was great until the game outgrew it, plus you might have to share space with other school big gamers like LSU...but it will be a hell of a lot quieter which may not be all bad. :thumb:
