Sarah Ena wrote an extremely classy letter to the editor in the Missoulian. I've copied it here. All I can say in response is, "Wow". It has been a great pleasure watching you play, Sarah, and you have certainly given far more to Missoula and the University of Montana than you've received. Thanks for being such a tremendous representative and ambassador of our University. Up with Montana!

Dear Missoula: It's me, No. 14 from the Lady Griz basketball team. You know, the one with the curly black Polynesian bun and the big calves? Well this past Saturday was my senior night and so I wanted to write in to the paper, hoping that it would give me the opportunity to try and thank everyone who has touched my life and supported me for the past four years.
I want to extend a huge thank you to all of you fans who have stuck by my side, encouraging and cheering me on freshman year until now. From crazy comments yelled that make me chuckle after a bad call, to a hug after the game, to a high-five running in from the locker room, I can't begin to describe to you how much all of that meant. From great games to not-so-great games, made shots and bricks, fist pumps and tears, four fouls or no fouls, playing basketball in Dahlberg Arena has truly been an experience of a lifetime.
I thank God every day that He opened the door and led me to come here. You really are my family away from home. It has truly been a blessing and an honor to play for the Lady Griz basketball program and represent the University of Montana. I have had the time of my life! I could have never dreamt for more dedicated, loyal and loving fans.
I will always have a special place in my heart for you, Missoula. Thank you for all the incredible memories, both on and off the court. Take care and God bless.
Sarah Ena, Missoula
