Well, the beaches nearby and the climate are definitely better. But if you're not so fond of traffic, crazy drivers, air pollution, and wall-to-wall housing ... not so much. Yes, I've been to both. San Diego is way better to visit, but no way would I want to live there. (But then, I would not want to live in Cheney either. :lol: )
