Samori Toure commits!!!!!!!

The last time I enjoyed a recruit video of a receiver this much was a video of Trumaine Johnson. TJ was a last second pickup and my favorite out of state Hauck recruit. At first I was disappointed when Tru was being switched to corner. Mr. Toure also plays CB pretty good as seen in his Jr year video.

Looks like he passes the "Best in space" eye test?

Reminded me like Peter Warrick and those FSU WR's in the 90's

Looks more like 6' to me than 6'3" but you never know, impossible to judge on these tapes. Dude is an exciting player with some serious top end speed and explosiveness. This group of WR's is unreal.

ESPN had him at 6'1" when I looked at it a while ago, unless he had a late spurt which does happen I guess.

I love the top-end speed and elusiveness (a little Jordan Canada in his smooth effortless running style). He will need to get much better on his route running in college, and I'm sure he will with our staff.

Samori Toure in football lingo means "Some more Touchdowns"!!!! I am going to have fun name in his career. Samori TD's, Samori receptions, Samori Championships. Great names make if funner. :)

GRIZ NATION loves this class and welcome to the family. Plus this class has family members not hiding in the woods. I like that.

Your son's highlight tape is seriously one of the most impressive I've ever seen. And he's an honor roll student too?! We are beyond lucky to have him! He is going to do some serious damage before he is done.

Welcome to Griz family. I haven't a clue how Samori wasn't a 3 star recruit. He is going to be fun to cheer for. Encourage him to work hard this summer. He could see the field soon. Go Griz!!!

I got a kick out of this well written post. I used to be a sports public address announcer, and I always would go to the opponents before every game and make sure I knew how to say everybody's name... out of respect. And if I still got one wrong, I loved when someone (from the crowd) would come and tell me the correct way to say it. That showed pride in their player, and I got to feel good saying it the right way. Plus my nephew, my sisters kid, always had his name said incorrectly for a lot of years playing his sports, so I know how that can irritate. :thumb:

Saw-More-E Two-Ray. I am thrilled to have him. He's going to send 26,000 Griz Fanatics to their feet in hysteria many times in the next 5 years.
