Still at #7 after being blown out by unranked Samford 55-35 lol. At one point, Mercer was down 42-7.

Herder claims that most teams have a bad game and that Mercer's overall body of work still warrants them to stay put at #7 lol. I don't get it haha. If you lose, especially badly to an unranked team, you should drop at least a little bit in the polls. Hell, he dropped Montana from #3 to #10 after Montana's 3-point loss on the road to #23 North Dakota. Yeah, I understand that the "polls are meaningless".

Sam says: "NDSU, MSU, and SDSU are all on equal footing, in my opinion, based on what I’ve seen on the field. The most fair way to rank them, though, is in that order."

He so full of crap he would need two rolls of T Paper to clean up his mess.
 
lol he has Idaho as an 8 seed in his Bracketology and Mercer at 5😂 Dude is way smoking that good stuff. I know it’s all speculation at the moment, but my goodness this is laughable. If I am correct, his votes actually affect the polls each week??

He’s predicting out the rest of the season in his bracketology…he’s assuming Idaho wins out (which they should, honestly).
 
Griz take care of business and the Poles will take care of themselves. Speaking of poles. Anyone seen Herder’s hand size?
 
Herder is smart. He knows the Griz fan base is one of the biggest, most passionate in the FCS and that every negative thing he says about us is major click bait that we take hook, line, and sinker.
 
Our path forward is pretty clear.

5-0 (10-2) to end the year, and we're the likely 3 or 4 seed, depending on how things shake out.

4-1 (9-3) with a loss to the cats gets us a top 8 seed, probably even if we're absolutely flavor blasted again in bozeman. Losing another game, but beating the cats is likely the same outcome.

3-2 (8-4) with losses to Davis and the neighbors (I believe this is what Herder thinks will happen) gets us about where he has us: a low seed somewhere around 12-16.

2-3 (7-5) and we might just barely limp into the playoffs like we did in 2022, but it's certainly not a lock, and we're probably right back to where we were as a fanbase after the 2022 season.

Worse than that, and it'll be rough in Griz nation.

The irony is he claims that he resets every week and doesn’t use his previous week. So he based his vote on Mercer’s performance this week
