i can vouch for the fact that his nephew's mom disagreed, saying he only pretended he was a 'player' in front of the guys on the football team, but in reality the ladies thought greenie was a creep, and he was avoided at all costs.

once again, i can vouch for that. can i be in the defamation lawsuit now? please?

PR. You may have been good, but you were no Murray Bowden...

Murry Bowden was a great player and first team Coaches All-American. Member of the College Football Hall of Fame. Big hitter. However, he played inside linebacker, not d-back. My kids and I stayed with him on his 1100 acre weekend ranch, an hour west of Houston, after the Sam Houston game in December. (4 wheelers, guns, fishing, horses, and several houses). Great guy, and one of my best friends.

Cool. I imagine you knew my uncle (passed away a few years back). He was a Dartmouth athlete as well and one hell of a good guy. Story for another day.

My nephew was a two-year starter too, and a good athlete. See this dunk. He's under 5'10". This is a 10' 1-1/2" basket. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9GHGP8uZS5w" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

Murry's speech a year ago at the Ivy Football Dinner in NYC. He's makes reference to our teammate Willie Bogan, who was drafted by the Colts. After Willie finished his Rhodes Scholarship, he can to Stanford for law school. We were the d-backs on our flag football team there.

An inch and a half above regulation....you'd think a gym like that would have their $hit together. I recall I was about 5'10" myself between 8th grade and my freshman year when I put down my first dunk, albeit on a regulation hoop.

You had great hops. The gym is the the Ridge in Bozeman.

# 12 Matt Hermanson has a father that coached him in high school where he was a tackling machine. It is why we recruited him. He did a great job last year as a true frosh under a different DC. This season he has a reason why he is tentative, a small injury has slowed him down. The answer to the safety play is simple. The coaches feel he is the best we have even with his condition. I will go with what the coaches see every day. My understanding is he is on the mend.

Tully I don't know. His play is fair and should improve. I hope.

Connor Lebsock is a good player but again I don't know what his status is as far as playing right now. I asked about our safety play and one of the coaches mentioned simply "it will get better" without an explanation so not sure what that means. Perhaps another question to the coach?

Well what do you want them to say? They're not just going to say that they expect us to keep playing at the same level all year.

Good point PT Grizzly. Since Delany is on record saying " the safeties, Tully particularly, are the most improved players on the team" it would be unrealistic to expect another response from the coaches. The new defense could be confusing to them. You never know. It probably wouldn't explain the poor tacking
however.
