I'm gonna preface this by saying I absolutely do not believe this will happen at all, but if Bobby and co. take this team to the Semis or better, then I think it solidifies that Bobby can still be the guy we hoped he'd be when he came back here, and he would have absolutely earned a new contract.

As far as what I'd like to see goes, I always want the team to do as well as possible. If you give me a choice between our team being bad vs. our team being good, I'm always going to choose being good.

The season so far is a Bellweather on the future games. Sure, they could go either way, but losing to a perennial doormat and almost losing to another... Not teams that are good some years and so-so or bad others... Doormats, since the very beginning with few exceptions.

I don't know where you get "more a Griz" from... Bobby never played, and Bobby doesn't have a playbook and his OC's don't either.

A Griz doesn't have to have played football....

Says the dude whose favorite line is " you never played football"..... jesus dude, pick a side of the fence and stay on it!!

Yes!, And Chris and our advertisers appreciate you visiting!

On that note. The pop up advertisements are even a problem with an add blocker, especially on mobile. Locks up the whole page and needs a refresh. Almost as much advertising here as in WaGriz. That not a a compliment.

There should be an "X" somewhere to close. I've never had it lock up my screen and need a refresh. Are you running on android or apple?

Apple. Not a huge deal. I'm just generally not a fan when sites bombard you with ads all over the place that inhibit your ability to read/use the site. I get to some extent thats probably what pays the bills, but it seems excessive. I'd rather pay 5 bucks a month and have no ads.

I get that annoyance. It must be the difference in operating systems. Sorry, I have no help to give on a solution on Apple.

If I go to a bookstore, how many books on leadership and management tips written by football coaches am I going to find?

Good ones on leadership and management of business? Probably none by a coach, unless they were also in business. Like my friend Joe Moglia.

Translation: Probably none... but here is one I can easily think of right away. There are no others, don't even think of checking. You are a bad poster if you do.

Top right of the ad. "Close ad" or "X" on every one of them. I get that it's annoying because you have to touch your screen an extra time. It's like when I was growing up and we only had channels 2, 4 and 6 because they were free. Every night, I got to watch Cheers re-runs with commercials, but I had to go to bed when Night Court broke to its second commercial break. I've disliked ads ever since, but it only took me until I was about nine to understand why they have to exist for free things.

Do you really not understand the difference between needing to have played football to coach or comment, and me being able to notice from someone's posts that they didn't play football (or don't understand it). Two completely different things.

I am just curious.... at what level of football does someone need to play that would enable them to comment with authority on your egriz? NAIA?... D2?....

Translation: I played football, so I am smarter than you. I know you didn’t play football without knowing you. There is no way you can understand the game. Your posts are as useless as a knitted condom. Submit peasant.

Anyone can comment on football, whether they played football or not. Do you understand those words?

And, I can comment on whether I think someone's posts show that they never played the game.

Again, two completely different things.

I do understand.... but for someone to have gained the acute knowledge that you believe you have acquired, what level of football does one need to have played? you continually state "it is obvious that you have never played the game..".... so again, to qualify as "to have played the game"... what level would qualify? Would an NAIA baller be accepted into your elite club?

Generally speaking anyone using the word "baller" should not be allowed in any club and in a perfect world their posts should be deleted. If you are a commentator on tv or radio you should immediately be fired.

To have played the game in my parlance, college football. It's not an elite club. Again, that is not necessary to post. When I started using the term, I noticed how many posters almost broke down and started crying when I pointed out that they must not have played the game (because some of their comments were so dumb). So, I put that arrow in my quiver. You can't punch anyone in the nose over the internet, so other things have to be used to jab (in a friendly way).

Did you ever get very far in school? You have poor reading comprehension and you seem slow.

You know what else you cant do over the internet? One cannot make sure your attorney does not have you on the clock while he dicks around on a chat website... I watched Tom Cruise in The Firm and learned it is a felony to falsify clients billing statements....
