Sac vs Jack Rabbits

I mean, that didn’t look like the best FCS recruiting class in the nation out there to me. Nor the best coach in the nation. Hell, he wasn’t even the best coach on that field last night.
Meh, I still don’t take issue with a president talking up his people and giving SDSU props after the game. Did he do something else?

The MSU defensive line and secondary are suspect. Don’t care what level they played against, they looked like a high school team yesterday. Oregon’s receiving corps was good, but wow. Serval times their backs or receives hurdled over DB’s. Their tackling form was poor. Their speed was poor. MSU could get pushed around in the trenches against better FCS teams. Going to be interesting to watch. Looks like they also had a potential injury to a defensive player yesterday. I hate seeing that and hope the lad is ok.
I think their line will be alright in the big sky, but their back end will get challenged. I’m expecting a struggle with man coverage like our defense had last year. Can their backers move well enough in zone to not get picked apart?

….

Saw lots of "me" play from Sac out there, especially defensively. Guys leaving lanes/assignments to chase and then showing frustrations towards teammates. Bad WR drops (including one that would've been a TD). They have some talent and some speed but don't seem to be playing team ball, if they can figure it out soon they still could be pretty dangerous, I'm not ruling them out at all.
Sooooo - Sac State looks how they normally do outside of the random 2 or 3 Taylor years? Cool.
