The Griz had a hard conference schedule before the season started. Now that Sac State is playing well, I would say the Griz have a REALLY hard conference schedule. Got those pesky stingers on the road this year-looks like it's gonna be a barn burner. If the Griz make the playoffs they will be battle-tested for sure.
 
Kevin Thomson might be the second best quarterback in the league. There are a lot of good ones and he flies under the radar
 
Looking forward to the Griz visit this October! Everyone is very surprised how quickly Troy Taylor and Andy Thompson have turned this ship around. Well, at least they’re starting to.

The Hornet defense finally gave up its first third down conversion OF THE YEAR in Week three against UNC.

Through 120:00 against D1 competition, the Hornets have given up ONE TD (@ASU late in the 4th).
 
Hand up. I completely forgot that Sacramende State was on the schedule. We will have to bring our A game.

I expect Taylor to do for Sac State what Hawkins is doing for UC Davis. Both were great hires.
 
I wanna wait until conference play starts to see how good these guys are. They’re probably gonna lose next week to Fresno State, but my guess is they can’t maintain this. I think that game against ASU was a fluke.
