I think after the MSU game, 49-44 Cats, is finished it will be much much clearer on who will be in and who will be out. Hosting???? Still don't know, but the Griz just need to win and not worry about anyone else.

Hard to believe, a few years back we lost games due to not so good FT shooting. Last year, we were better from the FT line than before. This year, simply amazing from the FT line.

congrats to the Lady Griz; watched some of their game tonight, Baker had a nice night. And a good win for the Griz; again, it wasn't the prettiest, but it's a big W. 18 - 1 in conference, one more to clinch both tournaments for Missoula.

4th in the nation I think was the last stat I read. It is simply amazing. I remember going to games in the 90's and early 2000's that would have been W's if the team would have shot better than 50%...today, we get a little disappointing when they shoot below 90%.

4th in the nation I think was the last stat I read. It is simply amazing. I remember going to games in the 90's and early 2000's that would have been W's if the team would have shot better than 50%...today, we get a little disappointing when they shoot below 90%.

A bad game shooting below 45% from the field and 40% from 3 anymore too. The offensive improvement over the last 2 years has been amazing. Imagine how much a true inside post scorer would do for this team. It would be damn impressive. Martin is only a Freshman though, and has a very high ceiling.

NAU has gone on a 16-4 run to get it within 2 53-51 MSU with 14 minutes to play.

In the last few games he has been great in limited minutes. He seems to always be around the ball and is getting a few blocks each game. I think he will be a real player in the coming years.

mtgrizrule, do you think it is more coaching or more recruiting? I understand that you need the players to perform in whatever system the coach runs. It just seems that better shot selection, ball movement, and FT's, defensive support and pickups come from coaching.
