Sac St

Does that really seem like a good idea? Being an Indy in Football is miserable and you may or may not get a conference invite later down the road. Feels like a massive gamble IMO.

If the scheduling agreement with the PAC becomes true they will be much better off then most. Assuming the PAC also adds Texas State a routine schedule for the Hornets for those 3 years:

-Boise, OSU, Wazzu, USU, CSU, Fresno, TXST, SDSU
-FCS (probably UC-Davis)
-P4
-MWC (or) CUSA (or) P4

Seems pretty solid to me

Why would the PAC even consider doing that for them? I call BS on that.

Do you have a link with info about this scheduling agreement?

I'm basing this off "Skadeezys" post that the PAC is down to accept them after 2-3 years of an Indy, this plan (still unknown) is merely a hypothetical based on that and the comment "Griz til I die" brought up that Indy is rough.

If the PAC gets Texas State for the 2026 season that will give them only 7 Conference games, means they will have slots to fill and SAC would be helpful in that regard. It's a safe bet they'd all have an FCS opponent, and some schools have schedule long time series with old MWC rivals (CSU + WYO) but it couldn't hurt having another reliable game on the schedule with a regional opponent.

The whole Sac scheme seems like a hypothesis based on speculation based on wishful thinking.

Have more than 5,000 people showed a willingness to attend games and support the team?

I see one win.
If they play anyone but UM, MSU, NDSU, SDSU...they might get that one win
if not, it will be like old times all over again for them

Do you live under a log?
Sac has averaged 15,000+ home attendance since 2019. High game was 23,000+.
Uh huh, and are these 15,000 people currently in the same room with you now?
