UM lost to the famous NDSU, a higher ranked team, which was a high seed. UM's loss wasn't embarrassing at all. UM was down 1 in the 3d q, and playing with a frosh backup qb who had been the no. 3 qb only a few weeks earlier.
Do you really not understand this, or are you just pushing your narrative?
No narrative at all. NDSU was "supposedly" having a down year, Griz were supposed to be "back" this year. I actually thought the Griz were playing well but to give up the TD runs they did was, well, kind of embarrassing.
No one who knew the game thought NDSU was having a down year. They got beat once. That's all. They are clearly a top team. The Griz were back this year, as well as the last 2 years, but couldn't overcome not having a healthy qb. Had Johnson been healthy the whole, do you think the Griz wouldn't still be in the playoffs now?
