Whitney is a helluva player....hope you guys can keep him for 4 years but it wouldn't surprise me if he transfers to a P5 school to showcase himself....He is that good...much better than Woods from PSU who transferred to Arizona State.....Good, hard nosed 2 games....Good luck the rest of the way and we may meet again....

Had p5 offers coming out of HS and wanted to play for Travis and have a chance at the NCAA tourney at the end. I agree he is the best player on the floor most nights.

I had looked on verbalcommits before I posted....it says he only had 1 other offer from Cal State Northridge....I don't know but I would guess that at 6'1" and 165, there were a lot of schools who thought he was too small....Those schools will probably rethink that soon....

I’m not so sure about Whitney, but I know verbal commits has been off quite often before. For instance Josh Bannan on VC shows one offer, and in his commitment announcement from UM, he has offers from several California schools. That being said, I highly doubt any P5s were jumping all over a 6’1 guard.

Egun getting abused by Fowler. Not enough size to defend him at the hoop

Egun got "abused" by Fowler AFTER Fowler abused both Steadman and Anderson and they had fouled out. Almost sad to watch any decent sized post just back Steadman and Anderson up all the way to the hoop....turn around and make a layup or get fouled. It actually happened in both games last weekend. The Griz have too many 6'2" or 6'3" slight guards and absolutely no inside size. They might win the "under 215 lb" national title as they may be the only D1 team in the nation who has no one that weighs over 215. GRIZ NEED SOME BIGGER PLAYERS!!
