OK Statesman, I'll take you up on this (IF the tourney is in Sacramento and IF I can break free to get there). Post a list of decent budget hotels, some nice places to eat, some great watering holes that'll tolerate Griz fans, and perhaps some other "stuff to do" in Sacramento. I don't mind attending the tourney in a rec center. For the pure love of hoops...

That's a good call, but the Chili's out on Arden gets out of fucking control from 3-6pm on Thursdays. I watched this middle manager drink THREE tall Coors Lights and eat an Awesome Blossom one day. He left saying, "Oh, I'm so full." He was slurring his speech a bit too. Absolute party animal. I almost spit my appletini out my nose.

never in the history of college message boards has 1 post ever fully captured the entirety of a school and fan base as well as this one does. No knowledge or pride in his community, no hospitality whatsoever. Having never imagined anyone in their right mind would ever want to visit his community, and having never before been asked, he has never even given a thought to what he would recommend to anyone who asked.

Had GJ asked what is the best commute route to get from a mobile home park to "Campus", and which lot to park in that gets you out of there fastest after 1 class, I am sure sacstateman would have had an eloquent answer.

Shortsighted analysis. The sheep in CA are confined to the inland NorCal counties and thus concentrated in a smaller land area than in Montana. While this drastically increases the sheep per person (SPP) figure, SPP isn't determinative. Land area per sheep (sheep concentration) laid over human population concentration is a much better measure of human/sheep interaction. As you and I both know, CA takes the cake there.

Ha ha, jeez that's even more reinforces the stereotype of Sac "fans" - so you have never gone back to catch a game, and consequently have no recommendations on where to stay or grab dinner? Pretty sure EG or CDA could give you some pointers on where to stay, things to do, and where to eat and drink in Missoula, although neither of them live in Missoula or is a travel agent. Sad.
