S. Illinois game

Listened to the game on the radio, once again turnovers were a problem we had twenty eight, cold shooting again by Criswell, on the good side we came back from a big deficit, Horne had an excellent game, Cummings also had a good game. Still need a point guard, not sure where Booker will end up but it looks like he'll be at the 2. Overall, not too bad of a game considering who and where we played. Still having problems coming out strong, seems like we get behind early, having problems scoring in the first half. Hope the few days off and being home will help the kids get rested and have a renewed energy for their game on Sat.

I'm not sure, but this is probably the toughest preconference schedule we've ever had, so that is partly to blame for the 6 losses, although a couple of those should have been wins.

Remember when we played UNLV back in 90 or was it 91. We respectfully got our asses handed to us. We played them better than most teams did that year. We still got our asses handed to us by the eventual champs though.

Turnovers were a problem...but at least we got some of our shooting touch back. I think the fact that we managed to make up a lot of the 28 pt defecit in the second half and end up playing them even will give the guys some confidence...something they really really need.
