Ryan Burke?

Not trying to take anything away from the big game this weekend, but with my OCD about the GRIZ I have noticed that Ryan Burke has not been listed on the GRIZ roster since the EWU game, anybody know the story?

I know there was some talk about concussions or another injury but usually injured players are still named on the roster. The last mention I find of him on here is when he was heading up the GRIZ toy drive.

I know this is the roster from Gogriz and it is notoriously erroneous so maybe it is just an oversight. This after all the same document that has listed 44 Nolan Timmons as a 250 lb safety. lol
 
Burke suffered his 5th concussion during the NAU game and was pretty much done for the season after that.

The participation report on Go Griz showed he played at Idaho State but maybe that was a typo??? I had heard he was having issues with concussions.

I'm not 100% sure what is up with Burke, but this is the most news that I've heard of since this thread here:

We watched Ryan stagger to the tunnel during the NAU game. Having his bell rung certainly applied to Ryan at that time. After 5 concussions, he and his family really heed to discuss his football future.
 
Because of concussions he will not play again this year, and possibly not ever.
He was a good receiver and wish him the best regardless of if he plays again.

I think it goes without saying that those discussions about his football future took place. Great football player - even better kid! At least he will travel with the team and still play a part - just not as a player.
 
My uncle saw his dad at the golf course in Laurel a few months back, said that Ryan might be done with football. In my mind, it wouldn't be worth it to get back on the field and risk a 6th concussion. There's more to life than football, and I wish him the best for the future.
 
My best to him. There are more important things in life than football. 5 concussions. Don't risk a 6th kid!!!
