Rundles- Is he back?

I say he is back. If indeed he is the BSC competition better look out for the GRIZ. I have said many times this year, in my opinion he is the biggest key to the GRIZ outcome this year. I absolutely loved what the Missoulian wrote today regarding Cam. This is the kind of attitude and confidence I want leading the way. Here it is from 2/25/08 Missoulian article, Makes me believe he is back. :thumb:

“Cam was in the doghouse and we had to find some way to get him going,” Tinkle said. “We had to come down with some discipline. He told us yesterday he was ready to help us and he was going to eliminate some of the stuff that was distracting him and help the team finish strong. So we went into today with the utmost confidence that we were going to give him a chance and see how he responded. Respond he did.”

Rundles said that once the game got into overtime, the Griz were determined not to make the same mistakes that had led to four league losses by a total of nine points.

“I told everybody, ‘Not this time, fellas. Not this time,' ” Rundles said. “I knew from the jump we were going to win it in overtime. I could see it in everyone's eyes.”

I hope you're right. He had a very good second half (and really game), and was great at the end of regulation and in the OT. And then he hit the 2 shots too.

Rundles is a skilled player. The problem is that too often he want's to shoot, sometimes to the extreme instead of running the
offense.
His quickness is an asset if he works hard on defense instead of
loafing. I hope that he continues to progress.

Sounds like Wayne did some coaching off the court...and it worked-

Well done Tinks!

i hope he's back too. today on a good note he and matt actually got into a tussle over a loose ball that went into the bleachers at practice. the bad news is rundles banged his shoulder pretty bad against the bleachers and sat for the end of practice. i hope he's ok. rundles has had alot of trouble this year trying to get his teamates to get on fire. (he's only a soph and started the year with alot of yelling and they really did'nt respond to that being they are all older than him, and then his frustration with his own shooting has gotten him down i believe.) cameron might not be the fastest guard but he is by far the smartest and his game the other night was what the coaches wanted to see. the only bad move all game was a shot taken from deep three when he was passed the ball with only a second left on the clock.
