Rumor 0r Truth?

Regardless, you're going to displace several hundred if not thousands of tailgaters for another useless building....makes zero sense.

Hmmm......... As 2.2 million people and counting are displaced because their useless buildings are are being blown to shit. I guess everyone must have priorities.

Yes, because if you have an opinion on anything that doesn't involve the worst thing going in the world, it means you don't care about the worst thing going on in the world. A waitress just asked me if I wanted to see a menu. What's the point? I can't prefer a lunch item to another at a time like this.

How can you be using the internet at a time like this? There are people literally getting bombed and would do ANYTHING to use the internet that you are flaunting before their eyes.

But I guess everyone must have their priorities....... 8-)

If the best thing about Montana Football in your mind is a parking lot then you need to get your priorities straight. All you have to do is walk over to the other side of the street and you’ll be back in the tailgating zone. I actually think the grassy area back there where the GSA tailgate is at is the best spot for tailgating. I don’t think I’ve ever been to a tailgate in lot P before.

And I'm exactly the opposite. I rarely go to the grassy knoll, because its mostly corporate. The good tailgating is in Lot P and the street. Regardless, you're going to displace several hundred if not thousands of tailgaters for another useless building....makes zero sense.

This is how the basketball atmosphere started to die off. :coffee:

You mean take away what the public (students) want ? Like the "ZOO"

I think its a plot to undermine the tailgaters in favor of the for-profit commercial guys. Moving these tailgaters 'a little' farther from the stadium is just a stop gap measure. Next stop, somewhere south of Miller Hall. Don't forget the space the Indoor Practice Facility will take up. Maybe Administration is planning on terracing Mt. Sentinel, or hollowing it out like Cheyenne Mountain to make room or all the new buildings on its wish list.

Yes. I used to be a part of that Zoo back when we packed the house. Was always a blast.

The real tailgating is on the east side of the stadium anyways.

For those thinking this will be a useless building I highly encourage you to visit the MMAC as it exists now. The exhibits are fantastic, but due to space constraints they can only exhibit a small fraction of their collection. If they do this right this museum will be the pride of Montana

Regarding the parking garage, what’s the difference between tailgating on the top floor of the parking garage and a flat parking lot? You get a better view on the top floor I guess.

I heard they are relocating the Earth Science Museum from Loma.

Top three threads, only because there are so few posters active nowadays.

This isn't the athletic department doing this. They have had no say in it. This is an administration deal. The museum and the location.
