I liked it was a unique rule different from pro ball and I like they’re keeping it for the final 2 min of each half. On the game changing side, this should help teams that win with defense due to the shortening of the game. 6-7 less plays means less opportunities to score.

Also means the play calling will change with the middle of the field less of an option. Defense gets more of the advantage by protecting the sidelines... I guess it doesn't really matter much if you're up by 21 with 5:00 to play...
 
Did anyone notice the part about not being able to use consecutive timeouts? That really throws a wrench in end of half or end of game clock management.

Nice not to have to sit thru two icing the kicker timeouts in a row.
