This was supposed to be our year. Next year is a semi rebuilding year. It's not going to improve next year.

Next year is not a semi-rebuilding year if we have a very good qb who is healthy for the whole season. The Griz would be good next season, if they didn't add one player other than finding a very good qb.

Who is this very good QB that you talk about??... If there is not one, it is the pure definition of a rebuilding year... C'mon Mrs. HAUCK... You are way too far up your husband's ass to have an objective opinion..

Did we have more wins this year than we did last year?

How come in year 5 they haven't developed any QB?

Replacing 10 starters on a 6th place team that gave up over 400 yards rushing in two of last 3 games....without serious help from portal this team will be rinse and repeat. How much does Hauck pay these people to spread misinformation, it is really getting creepy.

UM has had very good qb's in each of Hauck's years. They've gotten hurt. Only Humphrey was a good backup (for Sneed).

    I thought we were only a QB away?

A health (and very good) qb away. HEALTHY. A very good qb doesn't do any good if he's not in the game.

Maybe the horrible offense we run contributes to our transfer qbs getting hurt every year.

Maybe take off your Griz glasses and get out of the coaches ass long enough to see reality. I know players and recruits and parents of recruits and players, you are not in the locker room. He acts/says the right thing in the public eye but.... regarless the old school negative reinforcement is not working,.the game passed him by and his arrogance is dragging the program down...RTD.?? playoffs big deal, not going anywhere, 1-4 against cats, no respect from players and alum, fans getting fed up and lack of discipline....score a TD and throw the ball into the stands??? happened twice in the home playoff game...that is a team that doesn't give a crap anymore...IMO. If he is going to RTD, what do you think needs to change because the current recipe is clearly not working.

Almost everything you said is wrong, but go for it. Hauck and the coaches don't use old school negative reinforcement. The program has climbed significantly since Hauck returned. More wins. Two top 8 rankings, and probably a top 10/12 this year. Playoffs and playoff wins. What has to change is that the Griz need a very good qb who is healthy and available for the whole season, or a backup who can step in and win games. That's mostly it. The recipe is clearly working. It started working almost immediately.

Oh Hoops, how wrong you are. Have you talked to players on the team? They can’t stand the man. Almost down to every player. And he isn’t the only one. Germer might even be worse. Do they say it in public, hell no. Because like you mentioned earlier, they want his recommendation for their futures. But I can promise you that they don’t like him.

I’ll go one step further. They even tell the recruits how awful this staff is. Not joking at all. They tell them what assholes they are during their time here. Now you know why we don’t score some of these kids. The older players don’t care and don’t want to see Hauck succeed later. Believe me or not, it is happening.

Sorry to burst your Hauck bubble.

If you say so dude.

We could bring in Patrick Mahomes and not win the conference next year. We are so far away in personnel it’s insane. Both OL and DL are average at best. On defense we don’t have much for speed. Some good hard hitters but they don’t have the ability to chase the sidelines.

So how many years does Bobby need to get his guys here? Will it take another 5? He is an absolute failure so far. One helluva salesman though. Look how convinced he has Hoops.

Good news is that "very good QB's" are a dime a dozen and the Griz should be able to get 2 or 3 of them this offseason. The Griz lost a lot of talent off of this year's team and is not close to competing to win the Big Sky next year. It is a rebuilding year, like it or not.

Oh come on, there is no way that even Denny Washington could afford Mahomes. ;)

One would think if the coaches believed they were a good QB away, they’d try to have more than one of them on the roster. Has Hauck had a QB starter that he recruited out of HS in his second Montana tenure? I realize he technically recruited Sneed out of HS, but that doesn’t count in my opinion.

He also recruited Johnson out of HS. He recruits a lot of QBs because they are often the best athletes on their HS team. Some find other positions that enable them to play. Brown and Huot are still in the QB room.

I understand that. That’s not uncommon.

I’m asking whether any QB he has recruited to Montana out of HS has started here during his second tenure? I can’t recall any that weren’t because of injury (like Kris Brown).

Those players are soft and should do us all a favor and LEAVE. Why aren’t they leaving?

Without knowing anything about griz guys I agree with this 100%. Portal has never made it easier to go wherever you’re happy. If you don’t like it move on.

I guess it would only be an issue is if all these unhappy guys kept leaving year after year. That doesn’t seem to be happening.

Same reason I liked Primes opening press conference at Colorado. What he said was 100% fact.

100%. Hauck said this publicly at his press conference end of this year and last year. We do not recruit our current players to stay. If you are unhappy and don’t want to be here please leave. It’s better for you and our program. You are easily replaceable.

Also, I know for a fact this was happening at MSU with Choate. No reason to believe it is not happening with Vigen now.

LOL. Just because they don’t enjoy being around a dick and a narcissist that makes them soft??? You are nothing but a loser and a Hauck apologist too. You and Hoops must be tired after the day taking care of ole Bobby. Hope you two enjoy the failures of Bobby for years to come. You both deserve it.
