Bobcats definitely look like the better team. We will see come November though. Bobcats may be one dimensional but we were no dimensional last night. Ugly loss, exposed us badly. Our defense is awful against the pass. Any QB that can throw will light them up. I blame Stitt for his non recruiting of DBs. And our O line and Dline both got man handled. Looked like we were playing Clemson or something. Thank god we won't have to play another team like Sac St again till playoffs. If we make it. We may have just had an off day though. I feel like bye weeks really take momentum away. Unless your team is doing badly then it really helps. Griz got caught sleeping yesterday and we folded. Looked like the only players playing with heart were Sneed, Knight, JLM, Olson, and Lewis. Looked like the Griz pulled an all nighter getting trashed before the game. Definitely the worst effort on the year. Hopefully they pull their heads out their ass and get back to dominating. Last night we looked like a high school team vs an FBS team. It was ugly. Oh and we are f***[*] if Sneed doesn't get healthy. If he ends up missing more games I guarantee we will lose all those games. Badly.

How long before it’s Bobby’s fault? He’s had two f***[*] years to fix the “holes” left by Stitt. Asking for a friend.

Hard to beat anyone when you don't have a QB. And our run game isn't good enough to be beating anyone. Mainly due to the O line. You think we can win games without Sneed? I don't. You seen Humphreys.. he can't pass for shit when hes under pressure and makes horrible mistakes. If we had some blockers for him it'd be a different story. Sneed can actually play under pressure and make nothing into something for the most part. Please tell me why you think that's so stupid? What makes you think Humphrey can win us some games? Especially with our shoddy defense?

Just think it’s hilarious to blame a coach that hasn’t been here for almost two full years for holes in THIS year’s team.

Just goes to show how big of a hole that Stitt put the program in that Bobby has made improvements and they still are not great.

Yep, they've been quite a better than I expected but the game last night exposed some truths about areas of need.

If Stitt would of recruited players for defense we wouldn't be in this situation. We would be rolling. He completely neglected the defense. Will take at least 2 more years to fix the stitt he did. Didn't do a very good job with the O line either. Dude had a boner for WRs. Literally the only 2 positions he left with good depth are WRs and LBers. Apparently he thought that would make a team successful. Even Delaney did way better and he gave a team the ball twice for kickoffs. Just saying. If Pflugrad wouldn't have been fired we would of never been in a situation like we have for the passed 7 years. Shitty coach hiring screwed us. Hauck > Pflugrad > Delaney > Stitt. Can't fix 7 years of fuckery in 2 years.

Good comment and pretty close to my thoughts about the two teams and upcoming games. I think both the Grizzlies and the Cats are in the process of emerging to another level. Sac State is good and I think has a lot of upperclassmen on the roster plus some great coaches. Both UM and MSU are young and will get better. Who's to say that Sac isn't peaking too early and possibly tank in the end. Stranger things have happened before.

This thread didn’t age well! On the inside the den podcast Hauck said that we are 2 years ahead of schedule, and that UM has achieved its return to dominance! So proud of what this team has accomplished in just two seasons under Hauck. Obviously a win Saturday would put the exclamation point on the season and cap a pretty magical year 2. I absolutely can’t wait to see what this team can achieve in the playoffs. Regardless of this weeks outcome, we need to get out of Bozeman healthy.
