Welp, I did not see that coming. Thanks to Griz fans that added to the 15k+ Attendance (even though you made the beer lines long).

I don’t know what it will take for me to accept that my Hornets are finally a factor on the national stage. But, crushing the National Runner Ups, blowing out #6 MSU on the road, and stomping the #5 team UM all in a span of 15 days is mind blowing to me.

Sac, at least last night, is the best FCS team, the GRIZ have played in a couple of years. They’ve definitely arrived on the national level. Congrats to the Sac program.

Always classy EG, hope the Griz and hornets win out and we’ll see you in Sacramento again for the semifinal in December! Lol

I love all the Eastern and cat fans that have flooded the board as if their teams didn't get shit stomped by Sac State, as well.

What did you expect after all the the cocky comments by you guys last week after the Cats lost. Bobcat Nation doesn't even have a thread about your loss last night. You guys got stomped worse than the Cats. Look for a big drop in the polls this week.

I doubt NDSU could have handled SacSt tonight.

I watched the bison game and they barely handled one the worst teams in the country at home.

The Griz could have potentially got away with having a bad game if it was against any other team than a surging Sac State making circus catches all night.

Burn the game film and on to Eastern.
I have a feeling our guys are going to take out some frustration on the poor eaGals next week.

100% agree

Truth. Best effort I have ever seen from Sac. The team is well-coached and stocked with powerful weapons. If Sac continues to play as they have to this point in the season, they have a good chance to play in Frisco.

The Griz defense was exposed, or at least did not play well. Ditto for the Griz o-line, especially the former QB. Lots of work to do going forward. It is difficult to overcome falling behind so much when you have to pass and protect against Sac’s d-line.

Both EWU and MSU played SAC much closer that um did, add in all the sh!t talk fizz fans have been doing about those losses and you just need to shutup and eat crow. um didnt just "trip up" or have a "bad game" they got womped.

FYI the BSC championship will be played on 11/2 in Sacramento.

Bobcats definitely look like the better team. We will see come November though. Bobcats may be one dimensional but we were no dimensional last night. Ugly loss, exposed us badly. Our defense is awful against the pass. Any QB that can throw will light them up. I blame Stitt for his non recruiting of DBs. And our O line and Dline both got man handled. Looked like we were playing Clemson or something. Thank god we won't have to play another team like Sac St again till playoffs. If we make it. We may have just had an off day though. I feel like bye weeks really take momentum away. Unless your team is doing badly then it really helps. Griz got caught sleeping yesterday and we folded. Looked like the only players playing with heart were Sneed, Knight, JLM, Olson, and Lewis. Looked like the Griz pulled an all nighter getting trashed before the game. Definitely the worst effort on the year. Hopefully they pull their heads out their ass and get back to dominating. Last night we looked like a high school team vs an FBS team. It was ugly. Oh and we are fucked if Sneed doesn't get healthy. If he ends up missing more games I guarantee we will lose all those games. Badly.

How long before it’s Bobby’s fault? He’s had two fucking years to fix the “holes” left by Stitt. Asking for a friend.

gee, look who is trying to deflect from discussion of the actual game. really a big surprise, would've never expected that, nor his trying to shut down the comment about the sac coach being in his first year, and having taken over a 3 - 8 team.

Just think it’s hilarious to blame a coach that hasn’t been here for almost two full years for holes in THIS year’s team.

Given the ‘cupboard’ BH inherited I believe he and staff have done a great job. No bailing out on our Griz men for me.

We’ll be okay

I don't agree. The Cats don't look so great, in my view. They are good or pretty good. They struggle at the qb position. Perhaps the worst game of the year, but not the worst effort. The effort looked fine, if not good. I didn't notice any player not providing maximum effort.

There were just a huge number of plays that SS won and UM didn't. The "interception" at end of the half was huge. I still think the ball hit the ground as the receiver stretched to get it, but, even if not, it was a lucky play. It was a 7, 10 or 14 point turn around at a critical time of the game. It was 3d and 6 from UM 26, with the score 28-15. Intercepted at the 44, and returned 16. SS drive started with 49 seconds to go. Then it was 35-15. Huge difference and momentum swing.

I take nothing away from SS. They are good and played very well. They have nice talent.

Just goes to show how big of a hole that Stitt put the program in that Bobby has made improvements and they still are not great.

Never seen a game where one team’s receivers made so many circus catches and the other team’s receivers missed so many wide open ones. Very strange.

This. If there’s one silver lining I can take from this game, it’s that we probably won’t have a worse offensive output for the rest of the season. Our WRs are too good to completely fall apart like that on a consistent basis.

We did a lot of things that made the gap between us and Sac look much bigger than it actually is.

Takes a complete team effort to win games but would say it starts in the trenches and that seems to be where we suffered most last night. No pressure on the qb so he picked us apart coupled that with sports center highlight catches all night, reminded my of Kupp. And our line did not give Sneed time to make plays, he was running for his life way to much. Tv coverage SUCKED.
Season just got a bit tighter but we can still get what we all want, one conf loss does not end the season as long as our boys right the ship by flushing this game.
GO GRIZ

Yep, they've been quite a better than I expected but the game last night exposed some truths about areas of need.
